For optimal oral health, we recommend you visit for a regular exam every 6 months. The regular dental exam is comprehensive in scope, and includes:
- Advanced hygiene therapy, including thorough cleaning and polishing
- Periodontal (gum) exam
- Fluoride treatment
- Digital x-rays
- DIAGNOdent® exam (a gentle cavity detection device)
- Oral cancer screening with a VELscope (once per year)
The frequency of your visits (every 6 months) combined with our advanced diagnostic technologies, allow us to detect problems while they're small. Smaller problems are not only easier to fix, the process of restoration is also more comfortable and affordable.
